Blue Square Bet Premier side Barrow have re-signed full-back Paul Edwards.The 30-year-old left the FA Trophy holders in the summer to have a trial with Scottish Premier League side Inverness Caledonian Thistle.

Having failed to secure a contract with the Scottish club, bosses Dave Bayliss and Darren Sheridan moved to secure Edwards' return to Holker Street.

He made 15 appearances for Barrow last season after joining in March following his release by Port Vale.
